Hi all... yuh, that was my Usenet group posting that you're discussing.
I've found that a few newsgroups I've posted on in the past week have
formed a bit of chatter around the original message - I worded it
pretty badly, and only realized after the fact that it looked like
classic spam! ( erk! head hits desk )
Anyway, I suppose that I just jumped on the LUG to tell you that I am
legit, my podcast is truly benign and free, and I'm a total newbie just
trying to share my experiences with others as I move in to Linux. The
reason I mentioned ?i------s? is because for some novice pc users you
need to make a link with a ?trusted? or ?legitimate? broadcast
facilitator to be taken seriously, and iT----s does take the step of
screening all content before listing takes place. I know that i------s
itself is not ideal, but it gets great coverage, and I have also taken
steps to ensure that the podcast itself is fully compatible with a huge
range of podcatching apps on many platforms.
Anyway, if you have any topics that you thing a full blown
linux-noob-slash-windows-poweruser like me should hear about, please
feel free to drop me an email at wiredkiwi@xxxxxxxxx, or just post
here. I?d be genuinely grateful for any help or positive criticism.
