sorry, i've run out of ideas. I made a quick search on google, but I presume
you've done the same. didn't find anything pointing to this. Try to post
this on opensuse and perhaps somebody from suse can help. Another
possibility is to post it on a kernel hackers group. You've tried some
other distribution disk, like ubuntu for example or a non-installed
boot-dvd/cd? Don't think this will make much difference, because it's in
the very start of the kernel which makes investigating difficult. Check if
a bios upgrade is available (but that's a tricky/dangerous one). or last
solution: sell and replace with something which is known to work with
linux. I've never had this kind of problems and I've installed linux it on
dozens pc's and industrial single board pc's.
