I have an IE6 only website (government) I occasionally need to access
and decided to try IEs4Linux for this (rather than booting into
Windows). Although it basically worked (I was able to access the
website and do what I needed to do) there were a few glitches I noticed.

First, the Favorites panel didn't appear to work. Adding a website as a
favorite didn't appear to do anything.

Second, in filling out a web form, I often had to click several times in
a text field to get it to accept any input.

Has anyone else encounter these issues? I'm trying to sort out if this
is a problem with the application or something particular to my
installation of it.

Thanks for any feedback on this. -Pat

Have you tried using Firefox's Agent plugin to lie to Firefox. So far it
has fooled every IE-only website except those that use Active-X which from
a programmers point of view one of the stupidest thing one can do anyway.

Wow! That Firefox Agent plugin actually worked -or at least appeared
to. I didn't go all the way through the IE6 only webform, but what I did
try worked flawlessly. Thanks! I wish I had known about this earlier,
rather than spending the 2 to 3 hours messing around with IEs4Linux.

Cheers! -Pat
