RC1 download slooowwwwwwwww

I started bittorrent at about 8:20 on the 20th and it still has 1 day and 19
hours left. 75 hours for 4G! And my system is uploading to others at at
least double the download rate.
Also at 2:30 PM one peer was at 38% and is at 57% at 4:30 PM. In the same
time period, mine went from 35% to 43%.
Any clues to why?
