Ok, since this post i've compiled alsa and built the module snd-
ice1712 in and now the card works, however I get this weird modulation
grinding sound when ever i play anything. I had this issue before but
its been about a year and I can't remember how i fixed it. no music
just noise. Any one run into this or have a suggestion ?
