Curious Failure

Yast died on me today. I'm away from home working on
a laptop with 10.2 installed, but which has not been
used or updated in some time.
So being a good OpenSUSE fellow, the first thing I did
was to run update. Of course there were quite a few
things to be updated.
Sadly, in the midst of downloading the updates, my
internet connection died. And, hours later when I
had a chance to get back on the internet Yast has died.
If I run it in GUI mode, it asks for a password and then
simply goes away. If I run it in text mode I get the message
that yast-ncurses is missing and that I'd best reload it.
I then recalled that there was a recent update to yast-ncurses.
My downloading of updates must have happened just as that update
was being installed.
It is no big deal since I could likely find the update on line.
But I'll be home tomorrow and will fix it then.
