I installed OpenOffice.org 2.3 onto my openSUSE 10.2 system this weekend.maybe look have a look at the help page for !"add printers"
Everything seems to have gone well, but when I try to print nothing
happens. I noticed that when I open the print dialog, the "status" and
"type" lines report "default printer" and "CUPS:deskjet5900series"
respectively, but the "location" line is blank. My suspicion is that
OpenOffice.org isn't seeing the printer, but my other applications have no
trouble printing. Has anyone else had this problem? Am I missing
something exceedingly obvious here? If so, can someone point me in the
right direction for finding a fix? Or should I just wait for 10.3 to come
out next week?
TIA

Did that, followed instructions, but no luck. I'll try again, but me
thinks the stars are not aligned in my favor this weekend.
