One of the reasons I switched to XFS is the fact that the backup program for
XFS actually works. And yes I was able to restore data - single files and
hole partitions.
But for your case: I have not found a nice GUI frontend for xfsdump yet. I
just have a couple of Z-Shell scripts in /etc/cron.*
