I bought the same - there is a problem with the NIC driver and openSUSE. It
is possible to patch the driver [1] which will enable openSUSE to find the
(wired) NIC but it still doesn't work. There are two sets of Windows
drivers you can download, one from Fujitsu-Siemens and one from SIS. I
tried these using ndiswrapper; using the Fujitsu-Siemens driver I was able
to ping intranet and Internet, but that's all - no proper connection could
be established.

In the end I found this:

and installed Ubuntu as a (hopefully) temporary solution. The wired network
card now works, the wireless card is recognised but I haven't had occasion
to test it yet (according to the above, it should do). I'm hoping someone
comes up with a proper fix for openSUSE but I've seen nothing yet.

[1] I'll have to relocate this if you need it - just ask (is lying around
somewhere).
