Hi All
Despite searching numerous forums, I still cannot send ctrl-alt-del to a
windows 2k vncserver, from my suse64 10.3. I hit the icon 'send special
keys' and it asks me to press ctrl-alt-del, but then my suse intercepts
and gives me the dialog to shut down/restart the pc.
Also, I did hide the menu bar in kdrc and dont know a way how I can
unhide it again.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks Toby
Don't know, but try RealVNC which is free and install it to your 2k
machine. It works for me and I can control the win machine from my Suse
machine including the Ctrl alt del sequence.
vnc(viewer) on suse64 10.3? did you download the rpm, which I think is
for redhat not for suse? or did you use the zipped tar file? if so how
to install such it?
Thanks T
RealVNC is the server and installs to windows and runs optionally as a
service. Then on Suse, use krdc as the viewer. There might be other
clients to try but I've not tried any other than krdc
.
