root window ("xwininfo -root") as a parameter to ImageMagick's animate tool
(like "animate -window 0x13a yourgif.gif"). Maybe you would have to let
animate rescale your animation. Also I have not tested this. Maybe you
should first try with a simple windowmanager, like TWM.
