I tried the one-click install for the NVidia driver; I have GeForce

I got lots of dependencies. I deleted the nvidia repository after that,
but now I get the message "wrong checksum for patch
fetchmsttfonts.sh-4347.xml. I'm running openSUSE 10.3. What did I screw
up, and how do I fix it?
Had also a lot of missing dependencies showing up initially, but chose
"ignore for now" initially, then clicked "check dependencies" and all
was fine, and continued to click OK to finish.

having 64 bit version of suse 10.3? there might be subsequent unrelated
minor glitch.

I finally got 3D .. no NVidia logo now, at first I thought it wasn't
working. Thanks! I'm still having some weird problem, though. I tried
the game Briquolo to test the 3D. If I set it for full screen , my
monitor gives the "out of range" message. I'm running at 1280x1024
screen resolution (Briquolo is set for 800x600). Also, I was getting
some screen flicker, same problem I was getting in openSUSE 10.2. I went
into yast and set VertRefresh to 60, no more flicker, just as in 10.2.
The difference with 10.3 is that I can't set the "Size and Orientation"
on the desktop. It says "XServer is using Randr extension at version 1.2
or greater which deosn't have any configuaration yet". Any idea what
that means? They sure don't make this stuff easy... For now I'll try
installing some other games that worked on 10.2 and see what happens.
Thanks again!
