Try ctorrent. All it needs is an xterm and it runs a single-line display.

Just be aware that some trackers don't like it, for reasons that are
obscure to me.

I've tried Azureus in the past. It's beautiful, it's huge, it's
amazingly configurable, and it seems to be difficult to get just right,
especially in that it seems oversensitive to firewall settings. I've had
it block totally on boxes where Bittornado simply tunnelled out and got
on with the download.
