Re: Same-old Same-old Flash problem

Aren't we just sick and tired of flash problems ?

Of Flash, yes. No problems however.

Well, I've tried just
about everything to get Flash working in either/or Firefox (2 & 3),
Konqueror & Opera. I've copied the libflashplayer.so file manually to all
relevant folders. Still doesn't work. This is the latest version
available. What to do, what to do ?

Not look at flash. Not use flash.

It would be nice to be able to see the 'street view' maps at Google, not to
mention my local install of visuwords, etc...

http://tinyurl.com/2rt8f9 That is a streetview as the sexy speaker of
http://books.google.com/help/maps/streetview/ told me.
Works like a charm.
The online visuwords also works.

P.S. I don't particularly like flash enabled sites but there ubiquitous and
sometimes the only way to view something important.. Too bad we don't have
an equivalent open source application/plugin..

I am not sure what we miss. I tried visuwords and it is nice, just as it
was nice to look up dirty words in the dictionary.
