about CONFIG_NR_CPUS on SuSE 10.1

Hi all,

I am trying to compile a software (NISTNet3.0a) on my SuSE 10.1 and I have encountered the following error message:

/usr/include/linux/asm-generic/percpu.h:8:error: CONFIG_NR_CPUS undecleared here (not in a function)

I have searched the web using Google and the only helpful info I got is from this page:

http://cateee.net/lkddb/web-lkddb/NR_CPUS.html

Seems it is a global value that defines how many CPUS that the system uses.

But the contents on this link doesn't say how to change this value (CONFIG_NR_CPUS) and where to configure. Does anyone got ideas how to do so?

Thanks to all who read and reply!

Best wishes,
Xiaochuan
