Just click on the message, right click os the from address under
subject, and an option menu should pop up with one option being "create
filter from..." Not familiar with Claws but Seamonkey, Thunderbird and
Pan can do it.


The problem with that approach is that it only creates a filter for that
one "from" address. Then, the sender or senders bypass that filter by using
multiple phony "from" addresses. :-(

In that case you just hit the + button and add all the variations they use.
