Screen position after new NVidia card

Before anyone flames me, this is an admitted crosspost because I am not
certain if this is a openSUSE software problem or an NVidia driver issue.

I updated my system running openSUSE 10.3 to a new GeForce 8500 GT
card. I downloaded and installed the latest driver from the NVidia website.
All went well, except at the end of the SAX2 routine, when one tests the
settings the position and width controls have no effect. My screen
remains "slightly" displaced to the left side no matter how many times I
click the adjustment arrows.

Have others experienced this behavior and found a solution?

Thanks,

Godzilla
