No I haven't installed ANY beta or RC software on someone else's computer
EVER !!  That's why I asked about updating to final release.  So
I'll/he'll wait !

but to have a FULL OS,
(with all the software that you now have in openSUSE 10.3)
it should take another month to have that imo.

but i will install 1 of my 4 pc's openSUSE 11.0 after the first release hour
after that i will see if all the software that i use is available for the
other three pc's ;-)
