There is no such thing as a 'Windows Network'.
A network is a network. Period.
If you want to test if the machine can communicate, try ping.
If you want to share files, go into Yast to setup the samba server and
offter the Windows Machines a directory.
If you want to use a Windows share from you Linux, just start Konqueror and
go to smb://windowsMachine1
You have to learn to give more details about what you want to realise, you
know.
