You don't run Samba? I screwed up a few months ago, two identical
nics and I had Samba listening to the wrong one. At least the
firewall was blocking the external interface rather than the internal
one. Now I have a crappy cheap card on the external interface (10Mb
would be overkill there) and the good one in the internal one.
