Not the best thing that I have ever tried, houghi. :-(

I saved the /.mozilla folder to my desktop. After this, none of the videos
played in Firefox. I then copied the /.mozilla folder from my desktop back
to my original location and told it to overwrite all. Still, none of the
sites would play videos now. :-(

Odd. The overwrite part was the unwise part. I should have elaborated
more. What you should have done is look at what the differences where
and when placing thengs back NOT do an overwrite, because that means
some thing that were NOT there before will now be there and that might
have caused the problem.

I can see video from day one (32 bit) with no problem whatsoever. Still
haven't configured my soundcard, but that is just a matter of time.

That aside I did not see you use a backup. There might be a light. You
told it to overwrite, which means you copied it. Rename ~/.mozilla and
put back the ~/.mozilla from your desktop.
