Help NVIDIA 9600GT

Was anyone out there been able to get the NVIDIA 9600GT video card to work with OpenSUSE 11.0? I installed the drivers according to the instructions on the NVIDIA web site "openSUSE 11.0-IA32". I used YAST to install the drivers; x11-video-nvidiaG01 and the nvidia-gfxG01-kmp module. When X starts my ViewSonic VP2330wb flat panel display loses the video signal and turns off. But I do get a video signal in falesafe mode although the best resolution I can get is 800*600. I've included the xorg.conf file below. If anyone can help me out, it would be appreciated. I must have missed a configuration step. Thanks.
