I have openSuSE 11 64-bit/KDE4 installed on an AMD machine and have the
latest Firefox running. I have installed OpenJava and IcedTea and want
to get it to work in Firefox, more specifically for LogMeIn (it uses
java in the browser to interact with the remote machine, since Linux
distros arent supported).

I have 10.3 installed (32-bit) and LogMeIn works fine, but I want to
retire 10.3 and move to 11 completely. After I sign in to LogMeIn, and
click to access the remote machine, sometimes I get an image of the
remote desktop painted on the screen (which means java isnt loaded), but
if I continue to click the hyperlink to access the machine, I can see
while running "top" in a console, I can see that java wants to run, but
it looks like the path is wrong. If I compare this to the 10.3 install,
java continues to show it is running in 'top".

I checked, "about:plugins" in Firefox and it shows OpenJava. I'm sure
everything is installed, but maybe the plugin path is wrong? Or the path
to the JDK is wrong? Or both?

Does anyone have 64-bit Java and the 64-bit Firefox plugin running? If
so, can you share your experience to get it running?

Thanks!

I'm running 64 bit with Firefox SUSE/3.0-0.2
java-1_6_0-openjdk-plugin-1.2_b09-10
java-1_5_0-gcj-compat-1.5.0.0-65.1
java-1_6_0-openjdk-1.2_b09-10
with no problems.
All I did was to enable java in Preferences, Content.
