I just launch firefox that was installed by YaST and that is it. It
launces the installer, asks for a password and instals everything.
So what program are you using and is it provided by openSUSE?
Firefox in Edit, Preferences, Applications I do a search for ymp and it
tells me that the action is to use the YaST Meta Packache Handler
(default)

In my opinion if you have bugs down there that are so bad
