OK. Open YaST and search for firefox. Which one is installed. Be
specific. Click on the one installed and then on the tab
'Version'. What is installed and from where.

Mine is "MozillaFirefox 3.0-0.2-i586 from
http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.0";

This is what it says is installed and from where:

So is that Firefox or MozillaFirefox?

3.0.1-1.1-x86_64 from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.0/

So the next obvious question will be: What happens if you install
the one that is not from the mozilla repository but the one I use?

Most likely the mozilla repo makes a vanilla firefox, while the one
from openSUSE itself does not and add the ymp into it.

That is obviously a little different than yours.

And thus most likely the cause of your problem.

When you said that the mozilla repo makes a "vanilla" firefox, that
gave me a clue. My spouse is firmly addicted to "chocolate." ;-)

Instead of going back to a different edition of firefox, I searched
for what was missing and found it: "metapackage-handler"
It was on my openSUSE 11.0 DVD, but not installed by default.
I installed it with YAST2, and OneClickInstall now works! :-)

Now, I just might try KDE 4.1 if I can find where the OneClickInstall
is located.

Thanks for steering me, even if I wound up taking a different path.
