OpenSUSE 11.0 mounting USB hdd problem

I just upgraded from 10.2 to 11.0 and now I cannot mount my Samsung 400g USB
hdd. It does appear in Disk information in My Computer on the KDE desktop
but when I click on it an error message is flashed on the screen for half a
second.
Funny thing is, I loaded a live DVD of Xubuntu and it mounted the disk with
rw privileges straight away!
dmesg | tail

Any help appreciated. Thanks!
