Just installed SuSE 11.1 on a Lenovo Laptop with a touch pad. TheI have found no way to turn it off. Even if you disable the device it
touch pad is driving me nuts in that a tap (or touch) is like clicking
or an Enter. Everytime I take my finger off the pad and retouch it,
it is like I clicked wherever the pointer is sitting.
The KDE settings on mouse don't address this. What is there (if
anything) to adjust the sensitivity or turn off the "tap" on the pad.
I noticed that under "Puppy-Linux" this tap thing is not implemented.
Any help will be appreciated.

keeps working. Opensuse 11.1 sees both my wireless mouse and the
touchpad. I never use the touchpad. I should open up the laptop and snip
the wires.
I have a Lenovo T61 with openSuse 11.0. I have switched off the touchpad
using the BIOS setup facility. (F2 before booting).
