As promised some feedback from the 4 days at the openSUSE conference.

It was great seeing the developers. Apparently some 200 people visited
which can be called a succes. I am sure the several talks and slides
will be online very soon. At most moments some 4 talks where going on
at the same time, so it was hard to pick which ones to attend.

When I arrived I got a welcome package, containing a t-shirt, paper
notebook, PC-notebook bag, stickers and 1 inch logo for on a PC.
There were soft drink to take for free and at 12:00 there was free
lunch.
On thuirsday evening there even was free dinner with free beer.
Unfortunatly I headed back to the hotel very early. :-(

One of the things people are asking about is feedback. Also positive
feedback is very welcome, so if you like something, developers love to
hear that as well.
Even blogging about good things would be great.

One of the thing I noticed was that all developers use `osc` and the
build service. http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/CLI I must look
into that as it will be a lot easier once I know what I am doing. :-D

I hope it will be held again next year and if possible at a location I
can reach as well.

There was no wireless network available and only 5 PCs could connect
to wired at the same time. That seems bad, but was actually good to
not have wireless during the talks themselves and that will be
probably the setup next time as well.

Hi
Looks like fun.... there is monoosc as well for a GUI, it's a bit
flaky though. When it's starts the first time cancel the login
information screen and add from the menu.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/monoosc/

It's on the OBS.
