To change the background image on the booting up screen.
IE when booting is set to verbose.
I go to /etc/bootsplash/themes/openSUSE/images
and i changed the image file name bootsplash-1024x768.jpg
I copy the image i want to use to the above folder and rename it
bootsplash-1024x768.jpg thus over writing the preivious file.
then i go to usr/src/kernel.x.x.x and run make install.
when you reboot you will see the image you want to use
.
