When I remotely log into my Lion machine at home, I get a typical Apple

either log off, or lock the screen so somebody else can use it. My apps
remain open. Basically, its as if we were sitting at the machine.
I tried somethig similar with Ubuntu and it can't really be done.
It can be done naturally.
Use VNC, just like OSX does. Then you get the same lame connection OSX
provides, so you will feel right at home
I think the main problem is that I want to be able to continue where I
left off, remotely when I get to actually sit at the machine. Windows
RDP, and OSX's Screen sharing do exactly this.
Can it be done on Opensuse?
A typical remote X login won't work, because that particular desktop
won't be available when I sit at the actual machine.
