Basically to eliminate any need for multiple monitors.

If i got this right you would want something like desktop grid in
KDE4 if i hit ctrl + F8 i will see all my 6 desktops at once each
with what ever appliction i am running in each. plus i can setup
each desktop with different icons in each.

I would also want to control the area occupied by each desktop.
