Xserver on Windows XP Home Edition

In pre-historic times I used 3 Suse Linux 4?? as Xservers and a MS-DOS box as application server (DBase & WordPerfect 5.0 for DOS) with DeskviewX as Xclient. They where connected via 9600bit serial lines.
I now have a situation where I need to run for a few days a openSuse 11.4 Gnome box as Xclient and a M$ Windows XP Home Edition laptop as Xserver connected through a LAN. I tried ThightVNC and can only display a terminal window. No Gnome Desktop or anything else.
What is the best way to from Windoze XP to the OS 11.4 box to start and run a remote Gnome session. Not enough RAM and disk space to use VirtualBox or dual boot.
