Again, koffice looks fine to me, but then soffice is fine for me so I
never use anything else.

Agreed. I got a betatest version and was incredibly unimpressed with
what appeared merely to be a kind of ui editor, just like every other
gui editor in existence. What was wrong with word perfect, for goodness
sakes!

I don't think you need bother. I was immensely underwhelmed. I suppose
it edited, but I never did more than type a few random characters at
it, and notice that it had the usual kinds of menu.
