    Dear All,

I have configured a laser printer (HP LaserJet 4000TN) using printconf on my
Redhat 8.0 box as Jetdirect (printcap below)

    hpbw610|default|mono:\
            :ml#0:\
            :mx#0:\
            :sd=/var/spool/lpd/hpbw610:\
            :af=/var/spool/lpd/hpbw610/hpbw610.acct:\
            :sh:\
            :lp=|/usr/share/printconf/util/jetdirectprint:\
            :lpd_bounce=true:\
            :if=/usr/share/printconf/util/mf_wrapper:

    >From my understanding mf_wrapper deals with automagically converting files
to postscript or text and forwarding them to the printer. What I would
    like to know is....

Is there any straightforward way of configuring (presumably magic filter) to
insure that it knows something sensbile about the margins of the page?

When I print raw text to the printer the top line often gets cut off.

    Many thanks in advance,

    -ed
