Running redhat 8.0, Radeon VE 32mb of ram, 512mb system ram. CPU 1.4
Tualatin 512k cache.

Why does the simple moving of a window take 88 percent cpu? that does not
occur in windows XP. Is Gnome/Xfree86 such an inefficient system that it
sucks up resources just using the windows manager vs windows XPs GDI.

The card should accelerate the windowing so what gives? any tweaks to make a
difference?
