Sorry, perhaps I put it down incorrectly,
but what I wanted to say was that you can't install Linux on a partition
which is formatted using NTFS.
Should you format the partion using FAT(32) from Windows, the Linux
installation would allow you to use the partition and change the format.
Sorry for the confusion....
