Dear all,
I am trying to setup a vsftpd server. The vsftpd.conf file contians the
following:

Also in the /etc/xinetd.d/vsftpd file I have the following:
service ftp

server = /usr/sbin/vsftpd
nice = 10
}
In /var/ftp/pub I have a directory upload with 777 permission (yes I know
its dangerous but when its not working I try everything)
xinetd restarted after all the configurations, I can access the server from
another machine but can not write to it! I am trying to put some files in
/var/ftp/pub/upload but I alway get 550 permission denied message. I am
logging in as an anonymous user.
Could anyone help me with this, where am I going wrong?
