Controlling A Linux PC from a Windows XP Pro PC

Hi All,

I have a Windows XP Pro machine and a Linux PC (well tomorrow I will have a
Linux PC). Is there a way to control the Linux PC from the Windows XP Pro PC
if both systems are on a home based network?
