That is absolutely correct. Check your video card (Look it up on Google if
you have to.) and see what resolutions it is capable of doing and at what
color depths and definitely put the correct vertical and horizontal scan
rates in for your monitor. You can damage a monitor or video card by trying
to run them at scan rates and resolutions that they are not capable of doing.
