What kind of router do you have at home? I have a LinkSys cable router, and
I opened port 22 using port forwarding, and forwarded it to the Linux
internal IP.
But there's no guarantee that your school will allow outbound traffic on
port 22. You can experiment and if you find an open port on your school's
router, configure your home router to listen on that port, and forward
internally to ssh and port 22.
