Hi,
I am on a a redhat 7.2 (2.4.21) platform with ppp-2.4.1-7 rpm. It works fine
but I have a problem when I type "w" or "who" command I got this :
who
a_ppp ttyC11 Nov 27 08:40 (31200/ARQ/V34/LAPM/V42BIS)
instead of having the name of my user. On an older version of ppp, on
another machine i don't have the problem and the config files of ppp and
mgetty seem to be the same. :
/etc/mgetty+sendfax/login.config contains that :
/AutoPPP/ - a_ppp /usr/sbin/pppd login
and that :
* - - /bin/login @
it seems many people encouter this problem but I don't see how to solve it..
Thanx for ANY suggestions! :-)
Best regards,
SugarKane
