AU files.

I downloaded a program that I need for a tutorial and it is loaded with
.au sound files. Can anybody recommend a player or plugin for them? This
is the first time I ever heard .au's and googling isn't bringing much up
that makes any kind of sense.

Apparently the player, whatever it is, is not included in any of the
major distros. Xmms just stares at them, although there might be a
plugin for it somewhere.
