Hi folks!
I've been looking for a piece of software, but I can't find it
anywhere. I'm starting to lose faith in it's existence, and I hope
that someone can prove me wrong.
Often I'm still up watching a movie while my girlfriend is sleeping
in my arms. I've got the volume turned down as far as it goes, but
just loud enough to be able to follow the softly-spoken dialog. All
of a sudden, before I can grab the remote, everybody start shooting
each other with big, noisy guns, and my girl wakes up moaning.
Sometimes I fell asleep as well, and I wake up moaning too...
What would be really great, is a tool that monitors the volume of the
outgoing audio signal, and ajust the mixer accordingly. If the sound
has been soft for a few seconds, it ups the volume a bit, and if the
sound gets loud, it quickly turns the volume down. That would be so
nice!
Please, tell me this tool exists!
Greetz,
Sybren
