Pentium 4 Litigation

 This action alleged violations of false advertising and unfair
 competition laws in the sale of Pentium 4 based computers.

 The suit, which is seeking class action status, claims that Intel and
 other computer resellers have advertised the Pentium 4 is the most
 powerful processor for the pc. However studies show that the Pentium 4 is
 slower than both the Pentium 3 and the AMD Athlon processor.
