Going to try Debian but need vertical and horizontal refresh rate for my monitor.

Been practicing my reading on the reams of material I've found here on
the net to install Linux. Well problem is haven't been able to find the
  refresh rate for my monitor. Been through all the "system info"
software I have here on my machine and got nothing cept a note saying
"vertical scan: default" Well guessing that ain't going to get it.
Haven't gotten the Debian CD's in the mail yet though. Anyway CD's do
any day now - got the neighbor kid to watch for the mail man for me.
Good kid too. So need the Vertical and Horizontal refresh rate for a:

Haven't much of a clue what all these numbers are good for but perhaps
one of ya'll might know and can tell me where to find the refresh rate
for this monitor.
Oh yeah did go to Micron Electronics on the web and left them a email.
Have been having better luck with the neighbor kid getting back to me.
Well of course appreciate any help ya'll can give me and hope I can
return the favor one day.
