Mandrake, without a doubt. Some reasons - SuSE 8.1 is outdated, and RH9
is no longer supported (RH has gone commercial/enterprise). Mandrake is
well known to be friendly to newcomers, and things will probably work fine
right "out of the box".

Don't know much about ADSL, but if you install Mandrake and come back here
with specific questions about it, I'm sure you'll get the answers you need.
