I read all those just now (through the magic of xargs and Google
groups). All but a few contained informative answers with just the
quoting required to understand the context. The rest were either
clarifications or thank-you's. Nothing wrong with that.

You still don't get it, do you? It's not really the quoted to new text
ratio that is the problem. The problem was that you wrote a pointless
post. Now you want to blow this entirely out of proportion, but that's
your problem.
