God, not another holier than thou Linux guru!

However wonderful they are for reference, Man pages are almost worthless
for learning a topic from scratch since they always assume that you know
what you are looking for and are just wondering how to do it.

Next time, just assume that I have manned, helped, and googled before
asking the question.
