MY ISP service has changed because wavecable bought charter in my area. I
went to there web page to get new mail and news settings and came across
this question in their FAQ; http://www.wavebroadband.com/Wave_FAQ.htm
"Will Internet service from Wave Broadband work on any brand of computer?
Yes. High Speed Cable Internet service can be used on any brand of
computer (PC or Mac). It will work with most operating systems except
Linux, Unix or Windows 95."
Are they saying that broadband internet doesn't work if I'm using linux?
I'm using linux right now with their service. What do they mean it doesn't
work?
