I've installed nvidia drivers in a box, vim XF86config to remove 'dri' line
and change "driver 'nv'" into "driver 'nvidia'". Ok, startx shows the
nvidia logo and tuxracer performs great!.
But when I reboot the machine, /etc/X11/XF86Config is automatically edited.
That 'dri' line is added again, and nvidia changeb back to nv. NVidia logo
doesn't even appear, and GL support is gone.
How can I stop this behaviour and keep the file as I intend?
The system runs Fedora Core I (Yarrow). I thought it was the other OS that
tried to make decissions instead of me :)
